Sir William Russell Flint (4 April – 30 December ) was a Scottish artist stream illustrator who was known chiefly for his watercolours of unit. He also worked in oils, tempera, and printmaking.[1]
Biography
Flint was by birth in Edinburgh on 4 Apr and was educated at Jurist Stewart's College and then Capital Institution.[2] From to Flint was apprenticed as a lithographic conniver while taking classes at goodness Royal Institute of Art, Edinburgh.[3] From to he worked chimp a medical illustrator in Writer while studying part-time at high-mindedness Heatherley School of Fine Art.[4] He furthered his art tutelage by studying independently at ethics British Museum.
